It's very tempting just picking the very best pictures for the web site. But we have decided to display any pictures if we think it can give or say something. I think that Old English sheepdogs are a difficult breed for beginners to show. What I mean is that when you don't have any experience to prepare your dog for the show ring, and you are trying your very best, but no matter how much effort you put in it, your dog doesn't look half of what all the other dogs around you do, that's very annoying. As a beginner of showing OES, don't give up, it will get better and better each time you try. This is 1989 or 1990 if I remember correct. It is in the very beginning when I started to show Ronja. This is the first big dog show I'm at, before I had only practised on smaller shows. You can probably see that I haven't really got the touch to prepare her correct. It's getting much better now, but I would like to point out that I'm still learning, and probably always will. There is always something that can be better.
