Crowded family gathering

Sometimes I wonder what it is that keeps you going on as a breeder. It must be some special chromosome that separates the crazy dog lovers from the rest of the world. Breeding dogs, sometimes throws you between desperation and total satisfaction. My aim is to breed a healthy and sound OES, in both conformation and temperament. I never breed any of my bitches unless I'm looking to keep something myself or I think it is a combination that would make my lines take a step forward. Quality before quantity.

Since I live in Sweden, the puppies will not be docked. In Sweden we got the dockingban in january 1989. If someone from abroad wants to buy a puppy from us, they will find out that the puppy have a tail, and take that into consideration before deciding that they still want the puppy. I won't sell puppies abroad that will be docked when they arrive in the new home. Being docked at 2-3 days of age is fine but docking when the puppy is maybe 3-4 months old or even older, that's amputation.

All puppies are tattooed, health checked, eyes checked, vaccinated and registered at the Swedish Kennel Club when they are delivered. No puppy leave our house before 8 weeks of age at the earliest. As you will see on the photos on our homepage, all our dogs live with us in the house. This makes the puppies very socialized and used to everything that goes around in a household.
